I was widowed at the age of 40 (was not my idea of 'life begins at forty')left with 2 kids to raise only 8 and 11 years old. You will get past the intense numbing grief and believe it or not, you will grow from this experience. It forces you to look at yourself very differently. You suddenly (whether you want to or not)start taking 'inventory' and appreciate the things in life that we all take for granted. Hang in there and keep the faith, life as you knew it will not return but life as you want to make it will pervail. I try to imagine it pumping and becoming healthy when I'm bike riding.
